We are proud to offer our guests the opportunity to sample our exquisite silver service four-course dinner in our elegant dining room (by prior booking only please).
Our table d'hôte comprises a four course menu with selections from:
Appetizers
Sea Scallops sautéed in onion and red peppers, delicately flavoured with a ginger,
garlic & orange reduction.
Warm Blue Cheese Soufflé, served on a bed of mixed Balsamic salad leaves.
Paté le Maison (Home-made Chicken and Garlic Paté) with crisp salad leaves and Melba toast.
Smoked Salmon with soft cheese, Shrimp and Vidalia onion vinaigrette.
Toasted Goats’ Cheese on mixed salad leaves, Garlic and Mustard vinaigrette with Sherry vinegar and caramelized onions.
Smoked Chicken with Shrimp on crisp, young lettuce hearts with a spicy mayonnaise dressing.
Roasted Butter Nut Squash Soup, with toasted sunflower seeds and warm bread.
Main Course
Chicken Breast wrapped in Bacon, pan seared in Olive Oil and slowly roasted in cream and fresh Green Peppercorns, Rice Compote, Snow Peas and Baby Carrots.
Stuffed Pork Tenderloin with Spiced Red Cabbage and Apple with Hassleback Potatoes.
Prime Canadian Beef slowly cooked in strong Ale and Spanish onions, Broccoli, Carrots and Roasted Potatoes.
Noisettes of Lamb in Shrewsbury sauce (an old English recipe) Gratin Dauphinos, Asparagus and Seasonal Vegetables.
Salmon poached in a ginger and orange soy sauce, served with cous-cous and Stir Fried vegetables.
*Beef Wellington. Fillet beef wrapped in paté, mushrooms and puff pastry. Served with carrots, snow peas and gratin dauphinois potatoes.
